COURSE INSTRUCTOR
Nikki is the owner of Skillabration and has been teaching since 2005. She has a bachelor's in Spanish and Masters in Education with a focus in Spanish.
She has taught all levels of Spanish from ages 3-Adult. This course is best for ages 11 and up.
She learned Spanish in school and became fluent when she studied abroad in San Sebastián, Spain in 2003. She's also traveled to many cities in Mexico since she was 7 years old.
Nikki is from the suburbs of Chicago and has a Midwestern work ethic.
Students say she is patient, encouraging and fun.
Her goal is to spread a love of language learning to 10,000 students by 2027.

Course Summary
In this pre-recorded class you'll learn how to talk about activities and things you like to do in Spanish.
You'll learn a variety of activities in Spanish during week 1 and 2.
What is the lesson flow?
The teacher will share a class recording with Google Slides and Nearpod.
You do not need a Google or Nearpod account. The teacher will share links that you can access.
In the vocabulary lesson, you'll learn 5 words at a time.
- You'll take notes on the vocabulary before the video.
- Then we'll do pronunciation practice with 5 words.
- You'll do an activity to practice the 5 new words.
- We'll practice speaking by answering the question: What do you like to do? - ¿Qué te gusta hacer?
After learning the vocabulary, you'll learn the verb ser (to be) and subject pronouns.
In the grammar lesson, you'll learn 10 subject pronouns in Spanish. You will:
